Memorial Day 2024 Recap

In May 2024, the Silent Americans ("the Charity") raised funds for its first event, donating clothes to soldiers and veterans through the United States Department of Veterans Affairs in East Orange, NJ and Vietnam Veterans of America.

On May 23rd, 2024, the Charity gave new clothes to the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, which provides current members of the military and veterans with essential needs such as food, water, housing and medical care. They were extremely grateful for the donation, and stressed the importance that even a small amount of anything makes a big difference and will help current and former members of the military in need. We're excited to work with them closer in the future as we begin to develop our relationship. Additionally, on May 23rd, 2024, we gave bags of used clothes donated directly to us to the Vietnam Veterans of America, an organization that provides necessary assistance and supports veterans throughout the United States.

The Charity will be sending a Q2 2024 Donor Presentation to all donors and everyone on the mailing list, along with providing additional email updates throughout the summer building up to the next event, Back to School, where the Charity will provide school supplies to students in need in the New Jersey area.
