Back to School 2025 Recap

In August 2025, Silent Americans ("the Charity") raised funds for its second event of 2025, and Second Annual Back to School Event. The Charity successfully provided school supplies to students in the Essex County, New Jersey area.

Similar to last year, Silent Americans partnered with the Human Needs Food Pantry located in Montclair, New Jersey, to help them fill backpacks for students ranging from preschoolers to seniors in high school located throughout the Essex County area. The Human Needs Food Pantry specifically requested folders, one-subject notebooks, composition notebooks and Crayola markers. The Charity was able to purchase 472 items, including 212 folders, 109 one-subject notebooks, 91 composition notebooks, and 90 packs of Crayola markers. With the help of Silent Americans, the Human Needs Food Pantry was able to pack hundreds of backpacks to give out to students in the Essex County area and include five notebooks in each backpack (compared to four before our contributions). The students picked the backpacks up at the Human Needs Food Pantry office in Montclair, New Jersey.

The Human Needs Food Pantry once again expressed their appreciation for our support, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them in the future.
