Christmas 2024 Recap

Throughout December, we had our first Christmas event, where we successfully sponsored three families for Christmas and provided MeshMontclair with scarves that they gave out at their Christmas dinner.

In early December, we worked with the Abington Avenue School in Newark, New Jersey, to get matched with three different families who were chosen by the school's guidance counselors to receive gifts this year. Due to confidentiality, we will not be disclosing each family's identity. Each family provided us with the ages of the kids, their genders, and their interests, along with any general needs for the family.

In total, we were able to provide 52 gifts across the three families, spending roughly the same amount of money on each family. We were extremely happy to be able to provide these families with gifts / needs this year, and we hope we created an unforgettable Christmas for them. Additionally, we were able to provide MeshMontclair, a nonprofit organization located in Montclair, New Jersey, with 60 scarves. MeshMontclair provides essential services to Montclair's most vulnerable homeless adults and families, such as nutritious evening meals six days a week and provided overnight respite during extreme weather. This year, MeshMontclair hosted a Christmas dinner, and the scarves we provided were given out as a gift to each guest who attended the dinner. We are excited to continue building a relationship with MeshMontclair and working together again in the future.

As we conclude the Christmas event, we wanted to thank all of our donors, members, and supporters for their help this year. We have seen a tremendous amount of support from many different people in just our first year. We are excited with what we have been able to achieve so far, but we also know this is just the beginning of a strong charity that will continue to grow each year.
